Dog agility poles are vertically aligned poles that a dog will weave around as part of agility training. Agility weave poles tend to be made of plastic. They will have metal stakes to affix them to the ground. Other poles attach to a base so they can be used indoors. The poles are spaced roughly 24″ apart, and the dog passes in and out of the poles. These slalom poles form a course. At dog agility competitions, the dog that completes the course in the shortest amount of time wins. Even if you don’t plan on competing, these poles are fun to use with your dog for exercise.
